Job summary

Wild Fork is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to deliver a warm, knowledgeable shopping experience in a fast-paced grocery setting in Florida. You will stock, price, and present meat and specialty products while assisting customers with recipes and recommendations.

The role includes working in walk-in freezers, processing sales at the POS, and supporting opening/closing routines. You will join a collaborative team focused on service, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail, grocery, hospitality, or food experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with enthusiasm for food and culinary exploration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in extremely cold temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8-10 hours.
• Flexible scheduling (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Basic math skills for cash handling; POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, engaging 'personal chef & friendly butcher' experience to customers.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to maintain a full, fresh store.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, back-stock organization, and issue reporting.
• Work in walk-in freezers and follow food safety and freezer safety guidelines.
• Operate the POS, process transactions, returns, and exchanges; handle opening/closing duties.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, participate in training, and support a positive team culture.
