Homes for the Homeless in Bronx’s Soundview seeks a Culinary Program Coordinator to support the facility's culinary program by building employer partnerships and coordinating community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in workforce development or job placement.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain partnerships with local restaurants and food service employers.
• Conduct outreach to hospitality businesses to connect employers with program leadership.
• Coordinate with community organizations to support offsites.
• Represent the Culinary Program at events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with instructors to align training with industry needs.
• Coordinate logistics for open houses, graduations, workshops, and events.
• Manage student check-in and onsite coordination during cohorts.

• Maintain records of partnerships and program activities.
