Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Production Associate for the Lower DeBot Marketplace. The position is student hourly and requires work-study approvals or regular pay eligibility. You will assist kitchen staff, learn safe use of equipment, and help maintain a clean, stocked prep area to support uninterrupted service.

Expect to work at least 8 hours weekly, with some night or weekend shifts. A criminal background check and mandatory trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
• Ability to lift pans weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand and walk on hard floors for extended hours.
• Background check as part of employment onboarding.
• Successful completion of required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare dishes.
• Set up service area and stock with appropriate amount of food.
• Assist with food production for special functions.
• Maintain storeroom and equipment in sanitary condition.
• End-of-shift cleanup and preparation for next shift.
• Report hazards and repairs to management.

Education

Part-time student status (enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits)
