Atria Senior Living, Inc. in California is seeking a Kitchen/Dining Associate to assist with meal preparation and dining services for residents. You will help ensure high-quality service, maintain cleanliness, and follow recipes and safety guidelines in a group dining environment.

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate in English with residents and staff.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• Able to read recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Work with the Executive/Sous Chef to satisfy residents’ dining needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow cleaning schedules and company standards.
• Assist with receiving, storing and preparing food and supplies.
• Help prepare meals and snacks per recipes and production guides.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Assist with transporting and storing food and supplies.
• Attend pre-meal kitchen stand-up.
• Perform other duties as needed.
