Job summary

Palmetto Bluff is seeking Culinary & Baking Internship participants to gain hands-on experience in our award-winning private club kitchens along the May River in South Carolina. Interns will rotate through Cole’s/Canteen, May River Grill, and Canoe Club, supporting chefs and managers.

Participants must be enrolled in an accredited culinary program or recent graduate, with strong knife skills and 12-20 week availability, rolling applications until filled.

Qualifications

• Interns must be enrolled in an accredited culinary program or have recently graduated.
• Strong knife skills and basic kitchen knowledge are essential.
• At least one year of back-of-house experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to commit to 12–20 consecutive weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Palmetto Bluff chefs and staff in daily kitchen operations.
• Support preparation, cooking, and plating for club events and dining venues.
• Learn across multiple Palmetto Bluff restaurant concepts.
• Participate in recipe development and kitchen workflow improvements.
• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced kitchen environment.
