Merchants Market LLC in the U.S. Virgin Islands is seeking an Outside Sales Associate with a culinary background to join our growing team. This role combines culinary expertise with sales excellence to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in St.

Thomas and St. John. You will use culinary knowledge to tailor product solutions, build strong customer relationships, and deliver exceptional service while consistently meeting sales objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years of sales experience in foodservice or related industry.
• Culinary arts experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use culinary expertise to tailor product solutions and build customer relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and close orders.
• Manage accounts and weekly orders; enter orders into ERP; resolve shipment issues.
• Visit customers in St. Thomas and St. John to ensure satisfaction and growth.
• Monitor profitability and support leadership with business decisions.
