Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Regional Vice President in planning, evaluating, implementing and reporting on departmental operations. The role acts as a liaison to customers and oversees a broad range of activities across the unit.

Travel up to 50% to Sunnyvale and various Fremont site locations; weekend and grave shift work may be required. Strong leadership, cost containment, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year college degree required.
• Five to ten years progressive POM management and leadership experience with cost containment.
• Experience in College/University Facility required.
• Strong planning, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Public speaking and ability to multi-task.
• Travel up to 50% and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise departmental operations and planning.
• Provide fiscal oversight and cost control recommendations.
• Directly supervise unit and staff.
• Help develop short-term and long-term goals.
• Advise on university programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-department activities.
