Job summary

FLIK Hospitality Group is hiring for a Culinary/Back-of-House Manager in Training in the Greater New York, NY region. The role offers targeted entry-level management training through the Accelerated Manager Program (AMP) and may lead to management placements across culinary roles.

The MIT role includes hands-on experience at designated locations, cross-functional training in marketing, payroll, and P&L, and potential relocation opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required by August 2025 or earlier.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality within restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or similar food service operations required.
• Basic knowledge of profit and loss management, inventory control, and cash handling.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with peers, employees, clients, and customers.
• Open to relocation for the right role or advancement opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Receive targeted training for an entry-level management role and learn AMP practices.
• Learn best practices in marketing, customer service, merchandising, purchasing, payroll, and P&L.
• Participate in AMP, with potential relocation within region for placement opportunities.
• AMP graduate pathways include roles such as Sous Chef, Chef Manager, Executive Dining Chef, Catering Chef.
