Job summary

The Country Club of Rochester is seeking a Culinary Intern for October–January in Rochester, NY. The role offers an hourly salary and hands-on experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen.

You will work alongside the Chef de Cuisine to learn recipes, techniques, and kitchen operations. Applicants should be ready to stand for long periods, be team players, and show curiosity for details that enhance dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a culinary program is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and stay on your feet during shifts.
• Team-oriented with willingness to assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing menu items and learn CCR’s recipes and standards.
• Support plating and serving to ensure dishes look and taste great.
• Flag shortages or issues to the chefs to keep service running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Contribute to special projects or tasks as directed by the Chef de Cuisine.
• Represent CCR with professionalism as part of the culinary crew.
