Job summary

Ivy Tech is seeking a Culinary Instructor to provide high-quality, hands-on technical training at the Rockville Correctional Facility. The instructor will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, manage documentation, and collaborate with Ivy Tech and IDOC to promote re-entry success.

This is a full-time, year-round teaching position located at the Rockville Correctional Facility, with a pay range of $48,000–$52,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or specialized trade training is required.
• Indicates Indiana teaching license or Workplace Specialist license, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in a hands-on setting.
• Teach lab skills supporting industry certification and workplace readiness.
• Begin and end classes on schedule per DOC and Ivy Tech.
• Differentiate instruction for learners with diverse readiness levels.
• Support accommodations and use diverse modalities to boost learning.
