Job summary

Kettle Cuisine, LLC. in Lynn, MA is seeking a Senior Culinary Developer to lead ideation, development, and commercialization of innovative products, creating concepts and recipes that support sales and growth across our portfolio.

You will generate factory-ready prototypes and work with procurement, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure feasibility, while mentoring junior team members and upholding operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Culinary/Culinary Nutrition/Culinary Science or associate's degree with significant related industry experience.
• 8–12+ years of Culinary Development experience in packaged foods, restaurant chains, or large food service operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in culinary product development across industry segments.

Responsibilities

• Generate factory-ready Gold-Standard recipes and culinary prototypes that drive top & bottom-line growth.
• Develop new product concepts for kettle-cooked, sous vide, and meal portfolios per product-brief guidelines including internal/customer requirements, costs, raw materials, production limits, labor costs, etc.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, marketing, process, and operations teams to develop high-quality products and ensure feasibility.
• Present concepts to customers across Food Service, National Accounts, Retail, Mass and Club channels.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives with creative input, ideation, and feasibility.
• Lead customer-driven projects and foster strong customer relationships.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales/Process/Marketing/Production/Procurement/QA/Regulatory.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout development: ideation, formulations, proof of concepts on benchtop and plant floor.
• Coach and develop junior team members through coaching and L&D.
• Support additional projects and culinary team members as needed.
• Uphold operational excellence.
