Culinary, Experienced Cooks (Senior Cook, Chef Assistant)

Position Overview

SENIOR COOK: Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food within a specific Food Service Unit or the main kitchen located in our theme parks or CityWalk.

Starting Rate for Senior Cook: $23.00/hour

Major Responsibilities:
  • Stock materials and supplies; maintain cost control tools; perform spot checks; document spoilage.
  • Perform cooking duties ensuring high food quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with HACCP standards.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of Chef’s apprentice or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of high-volume cooking experience required.
CHEF ASSISTANT:

Responsible for food preparation and cooking within a Food Service Unit in our theme parks or CityWalk.

Starting Rate: $24.50/hour

Major Responsibilities:
  • Order supplies; ensure availability of materials.
  • Prepare food according to recipes, standards, and business needs.
  • Maintain cost controls; document spoilage; suggest efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure safety and food quality standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff.
  • Participate in safety and environmental responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of Chef’s apprentice or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years of high-volume experience as a Senior Cook or Line Cook required.
