Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Culinary Selling Lead to drive in-store food experiences, develop local recipes, and lead kitchen events in the Cooking Connection area. You will train Partners, manage inventory, and ensure excellent guest engagement through demonstrations and beverage pairings.

The role emphasizes hospitality, advanced cooking techniques, and strong leadership to inspire teams and elevate customer satisfaction during store events and Cooking Classes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience related to food and cooking or in sales/demo environments.
• Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics, or H-E-B Culinary certification required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and hospitality focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead selling activation events and develop local recipes with focus items.
• Train and develop Partners; manage store kitchen operations and inventory.
• Engage customers through food experiences and cooking demonstrations.
• Collaborate on event planning, signage, and product displays.
• Conduct cooking demonstrations and provide beverage pairing suggestions.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation per policy.
• Support floor demos and cross-merchandising during store events.
