Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Cook for the Springfield, MO location. The role is part-time with shift from 11:30am to 7:15pm, supporting a home-like environment and resident-focused service.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $22.25 per hour, with opportunities for internal growth and team recognition. The cook will prepare quality meals per recipes, uphold food safety standards, and engage with residents to meet their preferences while supporting a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision.
• Proficient written and oral communication with management and staff.
• Able to stand and walk all day; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with temperatures in cooking environments; indoor/outdoor work for events.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes.
• Follow health protocols, maintain hygiene and proper food temperatures.
• Get to know residents and their preferences; participate in orientations.
