Job summary

The Township Senior Living in Battlefield, MO is seeking a Cook for a full-time role. You will prepare meals to recipe standards, ensure food quality and timely service, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Weekend shifts run Friday and Saturday 11am-7pm, Sunday 10am-6pm, with additional Monday shifts. We offer company benefits including 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision, disability, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication with management and staff.
• Must be able to stand/walk/bend/kneel/stoop all day.
• Regularly lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable around hot/cold temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
• Indoor work with some outdoor events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items per established recipes to ensure high quality and timely presentation.
• Maintain health protocols, hygiene, food preparation, and safe food temperatures.
• Familiarize yourself with residents, their preferences, and participate in resident orientations.
