Arrow Senior Living is hiring a Cook in Stow, OH. The role is full-time, with a schedule Tue–Sat from 11:30am–7:30pm at Vitalia Stow. The cook will prepare menu items to recipe standards, ensure food safety, and engage with residents to tailor experiences. Candidate must be 18+, possess a Food Handlers Card, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
• Exhibited leadership, training and supervision abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with management and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with extreme temperatures in cooking areas and freezers.
• Criminal background clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes.
• Ensure health protocols, hygiene, proper food temperatures and safety.
• Familiarize with residents, their preferences, and participate in orientations.
