Eventide The Linden Senior Living Apartments in Moorhead, MN is seeking a Culinary Cook to work full-time with varying shifts (including 9a-6p, 9:30a-6:30p, 10a-7p) and weekend/holiday rotation. Responsible for preparing meals for residents in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has a HS diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of culinary experience. Compensation starts at $18.50–$20.72 per hour, with shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• 1-3 years of previous culinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high quality meals according to standardized recipes and techniques.
• Uses and directs the use of accurate portion control standards.
• Ensures sanitary conditions are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
• Checks menus daily to verify item preparation.
• Stores leftovers properly according to food handling standards.
• Operates equipment safely and hygienically.
• Supervises dining experience to ensure resident satisfaction with meals.
