Culinary Cook - Grill Station - Part Time | No Sundays | Day Shifts

Stoltzfus Meats makes and sells fine, fresh, homestyle foods-and we're looking for a Part-Time Grill Line Cook to join our team at Amos' Place Restaurant!

In this role, you'll take the lead on preparing hot sandwiches, breakfast plates, and hearty entrees using fresh ingredients on a griddle, char grill, and rapid oven. You'll also assist with kitchen prep and support the team in a clean, fun, and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare grilled menu items including breakfast plates and hot sandwiches
• Grill, sear, and cook meats and vegetables to order
• Maintain proper food temperatures and safe cooking practices
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and hygiene procedures
• Manage multiple orders and keep service flowing smoothly
• Help with basic kitchen prep, dish area, and trash as needed
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready to go
  
  

What You Bring

• Age 18+
• Experience as a grill, line, or short-order cook
• Comfortable working on a griddle and char grill (rapid oven a plus)
• Able to stand, bend, and work in heat for extended periods
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs regularly
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator
• Team player willing to help wherever needed
  
  

Schedule & Hours

• 2-4 shifts/week, approx. 9 hours per shift
• Friday and Saturday availability required
• Closed Sundays and no late nights!
  
  

Amos' Place is open: Monday-Friday: 6 AM-6 PM Saturday: 6 AM-5 PM

This is a year-round position and is not ideal for students unavailable during school sessions.
