Job summary

The role involves preparing items in advance and to order, ensuring top quality, appearance and portion control, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include meat fabrication, fish cutting, sauce making, and assisting with closing the kitchen.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience as a cook in a large restaurant, hotel, or complex healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items in advance and to order for cafeteria, tray-line and special functions.
• Prepare food items to highest standards with regard to appearance, taste, temperature and portion control.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and kitchen equipment.
