Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Minnesota is seeking a field sales consultant to build customer loyalty through a one-on-one consultative approach. You will design customer menus, train staff, and develop promotion and merchandising programs while driving brand sales and profitability with customers.

As a team member, you will mentor others, conduct training seminars, and provide consultative services that foster long-term relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years of food service experience.
• Bachelors: Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business consultant for customers to build loyalty and promote sales.
• Mentor, lead and teach food concepts; conduct training seminars for customers.
• Design customer menus and develop new ideas for clients.
• Provide consultative services to develop long-term business relationships.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a timely, quality manner.
• Evaluate food and labor costs savings through observation.
• Evaluate customer service through observations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
