Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Louisiana is seeking a Kitchen Steward to clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in casino dining outlets. The role supports food service by maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, operating the dish machine, and ensuring sanitation standards meet health dept requirements. The position requires teamwork, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work any shift.

Qualifications

• Six months previous kitchen worker experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and English.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes assigned station with hot and cold foods by transporting prepared food from the kitchen in a timely manner.
• Replenishes all nonfood items as needed.
• Cleans and stocks supplies, such as plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils.
• Lifts bus tubs to bus carts and pushes carts to the Kitchen.
• Cleans food serving areas including counters, utensils, and food trays.
• Ability to maintain the proper level of sanitation in accordance with health dept. and stewarding standards in all kitchen outlets.
• Cleans and sanitizes all China and flatware.
• Ability to clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
• Stocks supply (plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils).
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
