Job summary

Pepi Foods Culinary Center in Dothan, AL is seeking a Production Line Team Member to assemble and package fresh, homestyle meals for vending and micro-markets. You will follow established recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and work on a fast-paced line with attention to detail.

The role requires a high school diploma (culinary training is a bonus) and 6+ months cooking in a busy kitchen or manufacturing setting. ServSafe certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required within 30 days of hire.
• 6+ months experience of cooking in a busy kitchen or in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble individual-serving, fresh, homestyle food items according to established recipes, batching instructions, and quality standards.
• Ensure product consistency, taste, and presentation meet Pepi Foods’ high standards for customer satisfaction.
• Work efficiently on the production line to meet daily output goals while maintaining attention to detail.
• Report production metrics and waste data to the Culinary Center Manager as required.
• Report any equipment or supply issues to the Floor Lead to support efficient production flow.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines; complete post-production cleanup and storage; adhere to safety protocols.
