Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) invites friendly, compassionate individuals to join the hospital cafeteria team as cashiers. You will operate the register, serve guests, and help keep the cafe clean and organized to ensure timely service.

Working hours include day, evening, and night shifts with both full-time and part-time positions. A background check and drug screen are required, along with proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Experience in culinary operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Work the register in the hospital cafeteria and provide excellent service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure that food is presented properly and the cafe is ready for service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $13.01/hour

• Location: Central Carolina Hospital
• Cater to all customer needs and treat every customer with respect, friendliness, and a smile
• Balance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management
• Stock and monitor supply levels of condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items
• Monitor temperatures for the tray line and maintain temperature logs
• Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying trash cans
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areas
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
