Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) at Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking a friendly cashier to join the hospital cafeteria team. You will work the register, greet guests, and provide rapid, accurate service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This full-time position offers day, evening, and night shifts with an hourly wage of 16 USD, plus benefits such as PTO, medical and dental coverage, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Balance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management

• Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying trash cans
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areas
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
