Job summary

MediLodge of Alpena is hiring a Dietary Aide with no experience required. You will assist in food preparation and service for residents, following safety guidelines and dietary restrictions, blending culinary tasks with compassionate care.

Starting wages are $18.85 to $21.25 per hour, with incentives and flexible pay options through UKG Wallet. The role includes meal prep, portion control, and maintaining a clean dining area as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required for Dietary Aide.
• Education: Tenth grade or above desirable.
• Licenses/Certification: ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for meals, snacks, and events according to planned menus and safety standards.
• Utilizes recipes to prepare menu items and ensures food is served attractively.
• Delivers meals to designated areas based on schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and records temperatures.
• Washes dishes and keeps work areas clean and uncluttered.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
