Quest Food Management Services is hiring Culinary Associates for Deerfield, IL. Join a school food service team with a schedule that offers summers off and no nights, weekends, or holidays. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with opportunities for raises and benefits for eligible staff.

You will help run a smooth kitchen, prepare meals, follow recipes and prep lists, and support catering and bulk food preparation while delivering friendly, quality service to students and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals meeting quality standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and daily prep lists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items for cafeteria service.
• Follow daily preparation lists and recipes to support menu execution.
• Assist with bulk food preparation and catering preparation.
• Prepare cold items, salads, and grab-and-go offerings.
• Serve guests on the hot food line in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers and keep serving lines clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Receive kitchen deliveries and properly store products and supplies.
• Support kitchen cleaning and day-to-day operational needs.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and Quest standards.
