Job summary

Quest Food Management Services seeks a part-time food service worker to support daily production in a school kitchen. You will prepare ingredients, assemble meals, and serve students while keeping a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable and energetic, able to work efficiently with a team to meet daily production goals and follow safety guidelines. This role offers a daytime schedule with summers off and no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• School Safe Certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Must pass federal background check.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits, vegetables, and other menu items according to standardized recipes and meal schedules.
• Wash, cut, portion, cook, and package food products for distribution.
• Assist with meal assembly and service to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Label, date, and store food products following food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, steam tables, and knives.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Follow HACCP procedures and document food temperatures as required.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Support cooks with food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines.
