Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH is seeking a part-time Culinary Associate II for second shift. You will perform basic food preparation and service tasks for retail areas, catering, ingredient room, and patient Room Service line, following HACCP principles.

Responsibilities include handling orders and cash using MyMicros, ensuring safety and sanitation, and collaborating with kitchen staff. Candidates should be able to work weekends/holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled carts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Ability to tolerate frequent temperature changes and heat/cold near equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manages paperwork for orders, cash handling, and daily serving records.
• Follows proper hand hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Explains products, answers questions, and coordinates with internal staff.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely and cleans as required.
• Cooks, prepares, and serves food per guidelines and recipes.
• Dates, monitors temperatures, and uses FIFO for storage.
