Kettering Health is seeking a Culinary Call Center Associate at our Main Campus in Kettering, OH. This PRN/Resource role supports patients, families, and staff by handling meal orders via the Meal Your Way program and EPIC, ensuring adherence to diet orders and high accuracy.

You will answer calls, coordinate with the Culinary and Nutrition Care supervisor, and maintain up-to-date menus and patient communications.

Qualifications

• Able to sit for long periods in an office environment.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to answer telephones.
• Computer and keyboard skills.
• Maintain Patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Able to maintain near 100% accuracy in processing patient meal orders.
• Able to describe menu items and diets.
• Able to troubleshoot software and printer malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound calls to keep wait times low.
• Accurately completes position paperwork.
• Uses Meal Your Way to take and place patient meal orders.
• Ensures orders adhere to diet orders and navigates EPIC and VST.
• Maintains clean work areas and follows sanitation guidelines.
• Uses scripts and HEAL principles to respond to patients and staff.
