Job summary

The Linden Senior Living Apartments in Moorhead, MN is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant / Server SL to work 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will provide meal service to residents under sanitary conditions and coordinate with the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Ideal candidate may have prior food service experience; training is provided. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(B) with employer match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
• Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.

Description

Eventide The Linden Senior Living Apartments in south Moorhead, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server SL to work part time 330p-7p. Includes every other weekend & holiday rotation.

The Culinary Assistant / Server SL will provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16-17.92 for Culinary Assistants SL per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
