Job summary

Hunter's Creek Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Food and Nutrition Manager to oversee the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting, ensuring meals meet nutritional needs. Responsibilities include assisting with oversight, meal preparation/presentation, supervising cooks and aides, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent; Dietary Managers Association coursework preferred or current

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dietary Managers Association coursework preferred or currently enrolled.
• One year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to Residents and Patients.
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of Residents and Patients.
• Oversee the Department's Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program complies with State and Federal Regulations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Dietary Managers Association coursework preferred
