Southern HealthCare Management in Orlando, FL is seeking a Food and Nutrition Manager to oversee the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and skilled nursing center. You will supervise cooks and aides, ensure meals meet residents' nutritional needs, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients.
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients.
• Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Successful completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association preferred.


• One (1) year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets required.
