Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Food and Nutrition Manager to oversee the dietary department in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with planning and presenting meals to residents, ensure meals meet nutritional needs, and supervise the Department's cooks and aides to maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations. This role emphasizes a caring approach, teamwork, and quality service within a clean, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association.
• One year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients
• Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
