Cassia’s Newton Village is hiring Culinary Assistants to join the culinary team in Newton, IA. This entry-level, part-time position offers evening and weekend shifts with guaranteed hours and no late nights. You will help serve meals to residents, staff, and families and gain hands-on experience in a healthcare dining setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital/healthcare dining environment.
• Basic math skills for portioning and handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Provide nutritious meals and courteous service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents and guests with dietary needs as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
