Pasadena Villa Great Lakes in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Culinary Assistant to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and safety standards are followed. The role supports a residential behavioral health facility with emphasis on cleanliness and quality of service.

The position is full-time with a Tue–Thu 10:00 AM–6:30 PM and Fri–Sat 12:00 PM–8:00 PM schedule, plus a $1 per hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures clients’ dietary needs are met and meals follow safety standards.
• Follows recipes, prepares and serves healthy meals to clients in a timely manner.
• Maintains sanitation, proper labeling, storage temperatures, and logging per guidelines.
• Collaborates with team on menu changes to accommodate client needs and special diets.
• Monitors inventory and supports equipment maintenance to control costs and quality.
