Job summary

Jones-Harrison Senior Living in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to provide dining room meal service to residents and assist with kitchenette supplies for our Assisted Living Community. This role supports resident meals, adheres to safety and sanitation standards, and helps maintain the smooth flow of mealtime operations.

You will learn and work with the EMenu System and deliver friendly, respectful service, accommodating dietary needs and preferences while fostering

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in food service.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets residents' specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.

We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in Minneapolis, MN.

• 15 hours per two weeks
• Day/Evening shift
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.

Promotes And Encourages Positive Resident Relations And Satisfaction

• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
