Job summary

Holy Angels Residential Facility is seeking a Culinary Arts Assistant to support the Culinary Arts Managers in our program. You will help plan and begin cooking activities, and work with residents in the Culinary Arts Day Program. A passion for helping individuals with disabilities and cooking experience is valued.

The role includes day-to-day kitchen duties, training residents, and contributing to retail products. Weekend work may be required; a Culinary Arts degree and ServSafe are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a culinary program or kitchen setting preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day cooking and cleaning of the Culinary Arts Program.
• Train, supervise and oversee residents in the Culinary Arts Program.
• Prepare products for retail sale.
• Assist with pop-up sales.
• Weekend work may be required.
• All other kitchen duties as assigned by the Manager or Coordinator.
