Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide for Edgewater Woods, with daytime shifts and some weekend coverage. You will assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

Work alongside culinary leaders to meet residents' dietary needs, set up service, and help with trays, dishes and sanitation. We support growth, training, and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and support the culinary team.
• Preferred sanitation/safe food handling certification, if required.
• Prior restaurant server experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and ensure a positive experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portioning of meal items per menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary workplace.
