Job summary

Majestic Care of Newburgh is seeking a Culinary Aide to assist in Nutrition Services under supervision. You will work with different diets, help with tray line service, and prepare meals and desserts for residents.

Responsibilities include operating dish machine, assisting with tray line, food prep, maintaining sanitary conditions, and communicating with residents and families. Experience in food service is preferred; general education required.

• Basic communication with residents and families.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and portion control.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and various food service equipment.
• Assist with tray line assembly and restorative dining programs.
• Food preparation as assigned.
• Clean and maintain the dish area and equipment.
• Store clean equipment and utensils.
• Maintain sanitary preparation and service areas.
• Assist with stocking and setting up dietary tray cards.
• Deliver food carts to resident meal service locations.
• Ensure timely service and adherence to CCP guidelines.
