Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indiana seeks a Dietary Aide to provide compassionate care and assist with meal preparation and portioning per dietary needs. You will contribute to a patient-centered environment, supporting residents with respect and dignity.

Join a collaborative team, communicate with the Certified Dietary Manager, and help onboard new teammates while upholding our core values of compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence in daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Customer service oriented with ability to reflect core values in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in residents' lives by providing care and compassion.
• Be a positive teammate and assist in onboarding new teammates.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and dietary requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the Certified Dietary Manager to meet residents' needs.

Dietary Aide

What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

• Making a difference in the lives of the patients we serve by providing them care and compassion
• Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
• Assists in preparation and portion of meal items according to menu and diet requirements to accommodate resident needs.
• Communicates effectively with Certified Dietary Manager throughout shift as needed to best meet needs of the residents.
