Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for temporary, part-time affiliate faculty in the School of Hospitality. Teaching may occur in person or online, based on assignment and schedule.

The final salary is determined by credit hours, with a pay rate between $1,233 and $1,512 per credit hour. Adjunct faculty are hired on a per credit hour basis, usually semester-to-semester, and benefits are limited.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in hospitality or related field, or an associate degree with current professional hospitality experience.
• Experience in teaching or training in higher education or related settings.
• Ability to adapt instruction and support diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3+ credit hours per course, in-person or online.
• Deliver course content, prepare materials, and provide timely feedback.
• Engage diverse groups of students and integrate technology into coursework.
• Participate in department coordination and adhere to university policies.
