Job summary

TalentRemedy is seeking a CUAS Technical Specialist to support TSA’s Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems program. The role involves deploying, configuring, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and recovering CUAS equipment onsite at TSA Headquarters.

The ideal candidate has CUAS experience, a background in related fields, the ability to travel up to 30%, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying, configuring, operating, and maintaining CUAS equipment.
• Background in military or law enforcement support for CUAS or related systems.
• Ability to document technical activities and incidents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate fixed-site, mobile, and portable CUAS systems.
• Operate detection and authorized mitigation equipment under government direction.
• Perform pre-deployment testing, calibration, and readiness verification.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot CUAS hardware, software, firmware, networks, and comms.
• Diagnose issues and coordinate repairs and vendor support.
• Support CUAS data portals and interoperability with SITR/TAK tools.
• Monitor system status and performance; coordinate across vendors and platforms.
• Prepare documentation on operations, maintenance, incidents, and after-action reports.
