Job summary

Damar Services, Inc. is seeking a certified Recreational Therapy Provider (CTRS) to deliver therapy services to clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities or autism in Indiana. The role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and both individual and group sessions within a mission-driven, supportive environment.

Applicants must hold a CTRS, a 4-year degree in recreational therapy, and be at least 21 years old. A valid Indiana driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or related field with required coursework.
• Certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS).
• Minimum age 21 per licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct recreational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, individual and group sessions and documentation.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and collaborate with families and team members to support client needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation (daily notes, monthly reports).
• Ensure safety and dignity in all interactions and comply with policies and procedures.
