Job summary

Ddsi In is seeking a Recreational Therapist to evaluate participant interests and abilities and deliver individualized therapies across various settings in Indiana. You will assess, plan, and provide group and individual services aligned with Medicaid Waiver requirements.

Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based interventions, promoting community integration, and educating families. A CTRS credential and Indiana licensing are preferred, with driving responsibilities noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation.
• Current CTRS credential, or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to obtain required Medicaid provider credentials.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group recreational therapy services.

• Teach adaptive recreation and leisure skills.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and wellness activities.

• Educate families, caregivers, and support staff on therapeutic recreation strategies.

Requirements
