Job summary

Wwshemi seeks a CTO and founding engineer to own the technical vision from the ground up in an early-stage AI company focused on agriculture. You will shape core architecture, deliver the first production systems, and help build the engineering team.

You will design and deploy production systems using modern AI models, hire and lead the initial engineering group, set technical standards, and partner with leadership on strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of hands-on experience shipping products with modern AI models and tooling.
• Experience deploying production systems using current AI models and frameworks.
• Strong systems architecture skills, from inception.
• Experience leading early-stage engineering teams and owning end-to-end technical decisions.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and PyTorch.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach and interest in applying AI to agriculture.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

$250,000 annual base salary and 5% equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, six days per week. Relocation support is available.
