Job summary

Valis Advanced, Inc. is seeking a CTO-level engineering leader to own major parts of the technology, from architecture to production. You will build and lead the engineering team, engage with clients at C-suite level, and shape the platform roadmaps.

You will personally code where it matters, design multi-tenant data access, and drive GDPR compliance, data retention, and cost-aware cloud infra. The role involves driving MCP integrations and end-to-end deployment leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with hands-on CTO/leadership experience.
• Built systems from zero to production with real users and load.
• Deep hands-on experience running LLMs in production: agents, RAG, MCP, cost control.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the org brain and personal brain: data ingestion, knowledge storage, retrieval, agents, and integrations with Claude and other LLMs.
• Write code yourself where it matters most; this is a hands-on role.
• Design access control for data by user, manage data retention, GDPR compliance, and multi-tenancy.
• Build MCP servers and connectors to Slack, Google Workspace, Asana, HRIS, DWH, ERP for self-service client use.
• Lead deployments, own the technical side, and standardize repeated custom work into products.
• Manage cloud infra, data stack (Redshift, DuckDB), ETL, and cost controls.
