Job summary

J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Virginia seeks a Chief Technology Officer to provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the college’s technology infrastructure and digital transformation.

The CTO will develop and execute technology strategies that support teaching, learning, research, and administration while ensuring cybersecurity, data integrity, and ethical AI.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or related field.
• Experience in strategic planning and enterprise systems management.
• Experience leading IT infrastructure projects and renovations.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Expertise in information systems architecture, cybersecurity, ITSM, and lifecycle planning.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, data governance, and ethical AI implementation.
