Job summary

PLEXSYS is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead engineering, production, IT, and security across its software and services. This executive will shape the technology strategy, drive innovation, and ensure quality while aligning R&D with market needs and customer expectations.

The CTO will collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to plan strategically, oversee governance, and guide the organization through growth, regulatory demands, and defense industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS or equivalent; advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience guiding AI/ML, edge computing, and cloud-native architectures.
• 10+ years in senior software leadership within defense tech; LVC experience preferred.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation as a core tenet across software and services.
• Oversee budgets for Production and IT services; ensure fiscal stewardship.
• Lead enterprise security and IT governance and compliance programs.
• Shape strategic planning, market strategy, and customer engagement.
