Job summary

Church Mutual seeks an Executive Technology Leader to drive enterprise IT strategy, oversee cross-functional development, and modernize data platforms. This role partners with business leaders to translate strategy into scalable, secure technology solutions within a regulated insurance context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Experience in P&C insurance or regulated financial services.
• Experience with large-scale delivery projects.
• Deep experience with Java-based full-stack development.
• Experience with enterprise integration and APIs.
• Data platforms: Data Warehouse and modern data lakes.
• Agile and DevOps / CI-CD practices.
• Knowledge of core insurance applications and AI/RPA/workflow technologies.
• Strong executive communication and business partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and roadmaps in partnership with business unit leaders.
• Oversee full-stack application development and integration across platforms.
• Provide leadership for data platforms, EDW, and data pipelines.
• Establish Agile delivery and DevOps excellence.
• Manage application lifecycle, modernization, and rationalization.
• Deliver major strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes.
