Job summary

MVB Bank, Inc. is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to guide the vision, architecture, and modernization of its technology organization, partnering with AI, Data, and Automation leadership to scale secure, compliant platforms.

The CTO will directly lead enterprise product enablement and IT operations, overseeing core banking, digital, and lending platforms while aligning with risk, security, and regulatory requirements in a fast‑growing fintech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years of technology leadership in banking or regulated industry.
• Hands-on technical background with architecture, security, and platform decisions.
• Experience with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), embedded finance, payments, or card issuance.
• Strong leadership and budgeting/people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year technology modernization roadmap including core banking and legacy system retirement.
• Lead architecture decisions and modernization strategy.
• Partner with Security, AI/Data Governance, and Risk to ensure compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee vendor management and budgeting for enterprise platforms and fintech infrastructure.
